Description

Hand forged micro cleaver with multipart combo scales. This size cleaver I just call a “micro” cleaver. I also make a larger version that I call the “mini” cleaver.

This micro cleaver has a 2″ blade and is 4.25″ overall length and is hand forged from 1084 high carbon steel. 

Handle is multipart combo scales made by me and is composed of amber dyed camel bone bolster with a hidden pin beneath it (for added stability to that area of the handle) and a sandwich stack composed of brass, nickel silver, black fiber and Honduran Rosewood centerpiece, finished with spalted black oak, brass pins and orange G10 liners.

The blade features hammer forged flats over an aged patina on the bevels.
